My name is Susan Campbell, and I’m a Real Susie Homemaker.  I run our home in South Mississippi for my doting husband, David, two wonderful kids, Carter and Katie, and our dog, Comet.  I’ve had several jobs in the past, but my favorite so far is homemaker mom.

I learned how to keep a home from the best, my mom, and started cooking at a very early age by helping her out in the kitchen.  I started preparing the meals for my family when I was in the 4th grade, and now, even my mom asks me for recipes!  In From My Kitchen, I share favorite recipes, including budget friendly fare and fun cake and cookie decorating ideas.

I love my family and love to share the many adventures of our life together.  Like I said, my favorite job is being a homemaker mom and in Keeping It Real, I get to share my adventures in homemaking for 2 very active kids, one semi-active husband, and one hyperactive dog who likes to hug.

I owe all my blessings to my God and Savior, and feel so blessed to be able to share a part of my life with you.  The Lord has been my Rock and Salvation throughout my life and without him I wouldn’t be able to get through each day.  In Words to Consider, I share a thought for the day, or a devotion.
