Happy Valentine’s Day to my readers! Hope this day has been filled with love for each of you. I wanted to share a verse about where love comes from before I told you about my Valentine’s Day.
“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.” 1 John 4:7 (NIV)
Today I made a cake for a Valentine Birthday. This is my kind of cake…chocolate fudge filled with vanilla buttercream! It smelled so good, and luckily for my family, I had enough batter left over to make us some cupcakes! They’ll be the perfect dessert after our Valentine dinner.
My husband surprised me with tulips this weekend. When they arrived, they were still closed, but they opened up today for their Valentine’s debut! Aren’t they gorgeous!? We don’t typically do much for this holiday, so the flowers were a pleasant surprise!
