While speaking with a friend last week, this verse came up. I really believe God is in control. We have the freedom to make our choices, but the Lord presents us with opportunities to follow his lead.
Life isn’t always easy, and it’s not always easy to know which decision to make. Consult with the Lord in your decision making because he has a plan in place. Doesn’t it make sense to ask The One who has the answers?
A plan to PROSPER you and not to harm you. Plans to give you HOPE and a FUTURE.
When you have a plan of action in place, it can cut down on confusion and wasted effort.
Think of going on a trip or vacation without doing any sort of planning. Did you pack what you needed? Do you have enough money? Did you arrange for pet care? Did you hold the mail? If you have children on the trip, do you have diapers and extra changes of clothes?
It can be very stressful fumbling through without having some sort of plan in place. You wouldn’t be able to enjoy the trip because you would be busy worrying with all the things that could have easily been taken care of with a little planning.
I want to hang out with THE ONE WITH A PLAN. I encourage you to spend time with the Lord to have a better understanding of the plan he has for your life. He loves you and wants to prosper you, give you hope and a future.
